Scopes and bbl weight

Hey all!  Just wondering what you think of Weavers Grand Slam 6-20 for a scope to be used in this game.  The scope will go on an E. Arthur Brown model 97D .22 Rimfire (because I'm just an unconventional S.O.B.) and I'd like to add some weight as well.

How does this scope compare to others in the sub 400$ price range?

I'm looking for a good new scope that will track well.
-I don't want used!  I'll take the new scope warranty. (Screw me once, shame on you, " twice, shame on me)  Leopold can suck a turd out of my ass.

Where can I get a bbl weight that will fit a .810 O.D. bbl?

I myself like the B&L 4200, they have excellent optics and excellent tracking system, B&L weights about 21 oz, which is nice when you are shooting lighter rifles.

If you can’t find a ready-made barrel weight, any local gunsmith or machinist should be able to make one for you.  If you can’t find someone local willing to make one at a sane price let me know.
