i got this used .223 handi with a 22inch heavy barrel and cinnamon laminated stocks. i had noticed the medallion in the stock that had NEF on it. today i got a closer look at it and it says limited edition?? is that supposed to mean anything really??

Just means that at one time H&R/NEF issued that particular model with those features in limited numbers.....The cinnamon laminate comes on the 24" BBL .223 Ultra Varmint and the 22" .223 Ultra Hunter, now.
