berkshire stakes
« on: August 14, 2005, 10:30:45 AM »
will the standard berkshire stakes with 15 to 18 inches of cable hold coyotes

I'm trapping on farm feilds and the soil seems tough so do you think they will hold

also do you think using cable stakes reduces trap theft because they are so hard to pull
total for this year so far
3 grinners
2 coyotes
4 coons and
1 skunk

 so far

Berkshires will indeed hold coyotes. If the  ground is real tough,go with the Brkshire heavy duties.
I sell all 3 Berkshire stakes. On the ones I cable for customers,I use 3/32 cable on the regular ones, and 1/8 cable on the heavy duties and the soft ground.
The Berkshires will indeed cut down on theft.
