My brother and his wife live in Ohio. They sent us an email about the deerassic? show there and this is what they said.
"But we
went to Deerassic's third annual fundraiser (
www.deerassic.com ). They
had all sorts of raffle. Giving away things like crazy. A Hummer,
$50,000 cash, a two story cedar log home on one acre in a local State
Park, guns, trucks, ATVs, campers, more cash, jewelry, golf vacations,
etc. etc. And this was the main raffle. When we got there, they had
hundreds of side raffles going on - anything from more guns, to cameras,
jewelry, Hunts of a Lifetime, etc.
We entered a few raffles, but no luck there. Then they drew the winning
numbers for the Hunt of a Lifetime - to be filmed and shown on the
Outdoor Channels' "Freedom Outdoors". Guess what !! We'll let you know
when they will show our deer hunt on TV!! I couldn't believe it!! We
will be hunting with Joella Bates (five time women's archery champion
and first woman to kill a Cape Buffalo in South Africa with a bow). The
hunt will be in October so we won't know until after that when they will
air it. But they started filming as they picked the winning numbers so
I assume they will also show that on the TV."
This is all I know about the whole thing. Never heard of them out here but I am glad for them. I believe it is an archery hunt but not sure.
It's not a Handi hunt, just thought I share.
