Just wondering how many of you have a 10" .44 Mag with the screw-in choke tube for shot shells, and what kind of accuracy your getting from these barrels shooting .44 Mag cartridges. I plan on using 240 grain XTP's and most likely H110 to try to work up a good deer load for this barrel. I shot some Remington factory ammo out of it over the weekend and the accuracy was ok but nothing spectacular....3" at 50 yards. Definate room for improvement with handloads. Just never had one of the choked barrels and was curious if it affects the accuracy any when you have that 1 3/4" space at the end of the barrel where no contact is made with any rifeling. Any opinions are welcome, thanks fellas.
