Early season goose is fast approaching.

Where are you going and what tactics are you using?

We are going to be in the Raddison area on private land. Un-cut corn over-looking hayfields.

Anyone have experience with cranes as confidence decoys? Last year we had a pair of sandhills lead a small flock of geese into our spread. Quite a thrill.

How about crows? Anyone use crows as a confidence decoy?

Let us all know your tactics and secrets.

Raddison? You mean over past Hayward?
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

Jim, about three or four miles south of Raddison. Unsure of distances or directons. Land owner will get a good portion of first birds from early season. We will get the rest and turn it into jerky or sausage if we do well.

Ten of us hunting for now, lots of tags to be filled.

How far from the area are you? Perhaps I could secure a spot for you. More tags the merrier.

Contact me via PM if you are able to go the week of the 10th thru the 14th.

Hey Nixter sent a PM sorry just cannot swing it financially this year. Not sure how much hunting I will do in my neck of the woods with the price of gas.    I bet that Sandhill crane deks would work good. Not sure about crows how they mix with geese. I know the sandhill cranes mix with them though
