I now have a rossi with an 18" barrel, and remington 700 rifle sights. I decided to mount a scope on it today, so I mounted a bushnell 1.5x4.5x32 banner shotgun scope that I had from a prevoius rossi. T ook it and had it sighted dead on at 25 yards in 6 shots. once she was in center I shot 3 more rounds, all went through the same hole. I stepped back to 50 yards and fired at a new spot. dead on, and all three shots were cutting each others holes. You just cant beat these rossis, i'm gonna get one in a hi power caliber, either .223,.243,or .308. thinking about a .223 or .243 heavy barrel.
