Congrats!!! Be sure to report on your shooting experience with it, I haven't got to the range again with mine yet.....I'll gladly take part of the blame, but it's actually De41mag's fault, Dennis was the one who made me get one!!!

Wow  :eek: ;

Sorry Tim, warf and Digger. Did not mean to infect you fellas like that. I guess I'll take the blame for it.
Digger, I also shot some Win. Supremes, terrible accuracy! Going to shoot the other 10 left just to salvage the Nickle plated cases.
Going to try some Alliant Reloader 15 tonight.
Remember, start on the low side of the powder charge like Mac said, it's held true for me so far in this cartridge.
Tim, Digger, warf, Good Luck on your 22-250's.

DeMag41 my first reload was 39 grs. of Reloader 15 and a 40 gr. B.T. and it shot a 4 shot group of .447" at 79 yds. The 40 gr. V max went .9" at the same distance and powder. So I upped the charge to 39.5 grs. at accurcy went away. Went down to 38.5 grs. and the groups opened up again( there was a crosswind blowing weeds across shooting lane though),but managed a 3/4" group though. I then put the 204 barrel on,and shot a 5 shot group that measured 2.9" at 79 yds also.The 204 does'nt like the Hornady 32 gr. ammo. All shots were done with a floated forend and bipod on the front and a bag under the buttstock.It was rock solid mount like this. I shot the gun yesterday off the hinge with the bag under the buttstock also and it shot terrible ( 3.5" group with the Win.S.) I'll play with seating depth and all the other tricks this wk.end.   Digger

Warf that was my first choice of powders since it shoots good in my 223. I'm thinking 27 grs. with the 32 gr. Vmax as a starting point. You know with this being a new caliber for Varmits,they would have a accurate load for it. When it cools down some I'll try somemore with the IMR powders in the 22 250 and then go see if I can find some hogs for Wes. He's coming down sometime Sun. to do some work down here. If you get a chance come on down.  Digger

Figures I just got back to the boards today at work. I had nothing important going this weekend, could have made it down there, dang it.

Will try it again later? I'm really busy the next 4 weeks sons’ football, Labor Day weekend, Dove season opens on the 1st of Sept. fallowing 2 weekends Special Teal season. But if you’re not busy at the end of Sept. Maybe we can track down a hog?

If all goes well I'll be in Arkansas Oct. 1 for a little bear hunting :grin:  I plan on using the 460WBY on them there Super BIG Arkey Blackys :)
