what type of connector

what do you use to attach you cable stakes to your traps

S hooks, J hooks, wire, split rings or something else
total for this year so far
3 grinners
2 coyotes
4 coons and
1 skunk

I don't attach mine directly to the trap. My traps are all short-chained with at least two 4-way swivels, one of which is on the end. The hole on the end of the last swivel can be used then for a drowner lock, or I can run a rebar stake down through the swivel itself, or I can add another j-hook swivel attachment and use this to link onto a drag, or in this case, a looped end of a cable stake assembly.
