Im looking to load some 270 for some varmint shooting, and would like to try out some lite loads with the 90g and 110g bullets.

Does any one have any favorite loads for this purpose?

Hey man, get yourself a reputable reloading manual and go by that. This business of asking people on the Great Disinformation Highway about loads that are readily available elsewhere is questionable at best.

Getting a manual or 2 is great advice, if you want to get the most for the least, pick up a Hodgdon Annual for $8 or a Loadbook for $7.

I already have a few manuals that I use, I was just wondering what other people were using, and what they thought of it.

This was just more of a retorical, discussion type question...

You might try the Hodgdon Youth load as it would probably work very well for you

Or you could try a gas checked cast lead bullet load. They can be very accurate once you set your rifle up for them and then they are real easy on your shoulder as well.

I don't know the exact data, but the Hornady manual has a load for their 110 grain Vmax bullet using Varget powder. It is very accurate in my gun, and the bullets are devastating on prairie dogs. I loaded mine just above the minimum load given.

The most accurate load in my Rem 700 in .270 Win is with a 90gr Seirra HP over a moderate charge of either IMR 3031 or IMR 4064. Way out shines any load I've used in 130 and 150gr bullets.
