My Remington 1858 has arrived
« on: August 21, 2005, 02:46:15 AM »
My Pietta from Cabelas Remington 1858 arrived late Friday after taking the whole day off waiting like a kid on Christmas.  I took it to the range Saturday and discovered that point of aim and point of impact closely match up.  After 10 rounds on a regular target, and smoking everbody else at the pistol range out, I decided to put up my Osama bin Laden targets.  First two shots I shot out his eyes, and the next 13 rounds I proceded to shoot a big hole in his forehead.  The 1858 is accurate and precise.

Diito that!
Both my '58's are quite accurate and lock up tight.
I have a '58 in .36 that I haven't  shot much.
It's an older Euroarms revolver and is in good shape. I gave 40 bucks for it at a yard sale.l

What loads are you using in your '58?
