Yes I have one with a heavy taper 24" barrel. Had it for about 5 months and am still "shooting in the barrel" About 200 rounds into the process. Groups at around 1" now at 100 but I think it will shoot a little better than that ( the problem now is me ). In my neck of the woods, about 200 yards is all you will ever need. With the Remington green box 225 gr. I'm getting better than "hunting group's". I'm happy as a clam with it!!

Thanks Bamaflyer,
I was planning on a .358 but since the .358 and Whelen both come in 24" barrels I figure why not go with the extra performance of the Whelen. While I'll reload it looks like Whelen factory ammo is more readily available. I'll probably go with the regular TC Custom shop barrel so I won't need a heavy barrel foreend.
