Golf ball mortar contest Reminder

Just a reminder entries in the Golf ball mortar contest must be posted September first.

All entrys must include the following:

A drawing providing all dimensions suitable for others to make their own copy of your mortar.

A picture or pictures.  Better have a powder can in the picture or Blaster Bob will get you!

A description of your design and how you used the furnished materials.

Scores from your mortar match. Remember this is the total aggregate distance from the aiming stake for the best 5  of 7 shots.  Shortest total aggregate wins match.  Hint shoot this on grass or you golf ball will bounce and end up yards and not feet from the pin.

Every person will open their own topic for their own mortar.  The topics will be open to the board for discussion.

Shot my Match today...boy do golf balls bounce even on grass!

It's a good thing (if it doesn't rain) we've got ONE more weekend.  I have finished one completely (well as completely as it's going to get).  Won't win any prizes except maybe for simplicity, but it's done.  Now for shooting!

Pray for  rain and mud to stick the ball.  I hit close to the pin and then the ball bounced and rolled away.  Where the ball stops is where you measure from.

THIS IS THE WEEKEND!

It rained yesterday and last night, might rain today.  That would be OK too, we've shot in the rain before.

Okay guys it's time, get your post up!  I got the first one up so you can see what we need.

Please make one post with all your information in that post.

When some one makes a post look it over and tell us what category you think it might be in.  Ask questions.

Good luck!
