I got on the TPWD page and danged if I could find the cost for a non-resident license for dove hunting. Anybody here know? 'Preciate the help fellas.
Perception is everything. For instance, a crowded elevator smells different to a midget.

http://www.tpwd.state.tx.us/publications/nonpwdpubs/media/outdoor_annual_2005_2006.pdf

The link above, pages 53 & 54 (if it works).

Basically,
Non-resident special hunting, exotics, all legal
game birds (except turkey) all non-game animals
squirrel and javelina (no other game animals, NOT DEER) $125.00
Stamp endorsements apply.

Non-resident 5 day special hunting (same as above)
5 consecutive days, $45.00
Again, Stamp endorsments apply.

If all you want is to hunt dove one of these should work.
You should note the stamp endorsment requirments also.

Oh yeah, now   you've got to let me know if you've got a good spot.

Thanks. And I already have a good idea that it's a good spot. Two twenty acre fields, one planted in sunflower, one in maize. Surrounded by 1,000 acres of mesquite. Dove heaven fer sure.
