Anyone ever heard of a 270 Ingram for the Contender?  What are the pros and cons of the cartridge?

It fits right in between the 6.5 TCU and the 7 TCU.  The only advantage is the ability to use .277" bullets if you have a bunch already.
Disadvantages?  Expensive dies, virtually no tested load data, and the Ingram barrels had a bad reputation for separating from their lugs upon firing.....

What chambers did the Ingram offer besides the 270? I need to add them to the caliber listing. Thanks.

I know they were available in .270, 7mm, and .30 calibers based on the .223 case.  There may well have been others, but I never saw them.

Have one in 6mmx222 in a 10 " barrel.
