I have a spread sheet in Excel that I got from Ranger Rick that has a lot of loads for the 500 Mag. If you have Excel on your computer I can send you an e-mail with an attachment. I don't think there is much in a form of a published data in reloading manuals for the 500 Mag. And if you don't have Excel, I can make a hard copy and sent it to you. E-mail me if you are interested.  :D

Redhawk,

I don't currently shoot the .500 S&W, but first time I held one I was mightily impressed!

huge caliber

big voluminous case

overall nice looking round that's obviously VERY POWERFUL

If I shot the .500 S&W, it would likely be in the Handi-Rifle.

Would you please post a few numbers, possible bullet weights, their velocities and energies?

THANKS!

Couger, bullet weights can be from 275 gr. to 700 gr. The velocities and energies would be different for a handy rifle than from my handgun.  I received an e-mail from someone and they sent me there wifes e-mail address for the load data, was it you? If so  al the information you would need is listed there.  :D

No Redhawk, I haven't sent you any email addresses or emails.

However, if you're willing to send me the data via my email, please look for a PM from me.  Thanks.
