I've worked at several companies that have undergone multiple rounds of layoffs. It's harder psychologically on the people that are left than those who are fired. The ones who are left often have feelings of guilt because they are still there. One man I know developed terrible stress related symptoms because he was still left after three rounds of firings. He was so stressed out that he eventually quit his job to work for another company, then he eventually returned after things had settled down. This is not just my observation, but it's a known syndrome called, I believe, "survivor's syndrome".
Keep this in mind, and make the best of the situation. Things will settle down eventually, and you'll be able to get that .375. It's certainly worth waiting for.
