Cap's 87 shotgun might just make it

Seems things have been going a bit better for Cap this trip.  Sounds like they are actually assemblying a few.

Still have my deposit in.  I might just live to see it

Heck, CR, I just ordered one of the long barreled 87s to go with the short-barreled WCSE that I've got on order. :-D

Are you going to have them do the "action job" before they ship it to you?
Keep us informed as to the quality, etc.

Been waiting a while now, hope it will be worth it.  :D

what I got back when asking about modifying the standards coming in:

Howdy Cheyenne,
How the heck are ya'?  If these guns don't have the drop two mod in them, Cap told me it would be $40.  Recoil pads are installed for $76.
The special edition model is a lot better gun for the money if you can stand the wait.  You will be able to sell the "SE" for $200 more than you paid for it.
Regards,
Cap

I would like a longer barrel just cause I think it looks better but I'm still waiting on my SE.

I dunno yet. I've asked for pricing on modifications, but right now they don't really know what mods are going to come in on the long guns. So I've got to wait until they get the shipment to see what I've got (and how much more it's going to cost me). I'll make the decsion then on what additional mods to get on the gun.

I want the long gun to be really smooth, since I'm planning on using it for not only CAS, but to really screw up the folks on the skeet field! I really want interchangeable chokes, drop two mod, and the action job, but I'll have to wait and see.

BTW, I've used my Winchester 9410 lever action .410 for skeet. I don't hit a whole lot, but the looks of the folks who think I'm shooting a .45 Colt Winchester lever-action is priceless.
