CVA Optima Pro Scoe Mount Question

Trying to help a uncle scope his CVA Optima Pro. I dodnt like the looks of the CVA mounts is anybody else using anything different or hae any comments about that Mount.

Round reciever takes the 418m weaver mounts. I normally use low profile rings after that.
