What's the difference between BF Goodrich's:

All Terrain and their Land Terrain tires?

Land Terrain tires are the subject of a recall, and have a milder tread.

I have had several sets of All Terrains, a little noisy on the highway, but aggressive enough for mud and snow, unless you plan on extreme off roading, they are great.

On my 95 Land Rover Defender 90, I got 75,000 on the first set of All Terrains, alas the poor Land Rover burst into flames at 135,000 miles with only with 60,000 on the second set.  Great tire and served me well.

Thanks Jon.  I too have run the the All Terrains on my truck...kept them rotated/balanced regularly.  Got well over 75k.

But, when I saw the Land Terrain on Wally's website...they looked too good to be true.  Couldn't help but think something was different.
