Anybody been to the Lowndes WMA and taken some hogs in the special season? Was hoping to go there with my father-in-law opening weekend of the special season, but they posted the dates on outdoor alabama after it had already started, and I've had something going ever since.

I have been out there many times during the 02 - 03 deer seasons. I never saw any hogs or hog sign. However, I am sure there are some out there somewhere. Also, a lot could have changed in 2 years.
Hope this helps,

I went last year and did nothing but get eaten by bugs and sweat about off 10 lbs. A couple of guys that made it opening weekend had killed a few though. That's why I was hoping to get out earlier this year, but didn't know when the season started.
