RCBS customer service
« on: August 29, 2005, 06:09:14 PM »
I bought some 357 dies at a garage sale.  They are older dies from 92 or so (the original receipt was in the box).  The sizing die had no stem or anything in the die body.  After looking on the parts list on the RCBS website, I couldn't figure out what was missing because the dies themselves were labeled differently from the new style RCBS dies (maybe when they added the cursed brass set screws).  On Thursday I emailed RCBS asking why the confusion and what is missing.

So today I get and email saying "We have a conversion for this die we will send you -  you will now size and decap in the #1 size die and expand only in the expander die - have a great day!"  I go to the mailbox after work and .....there is a package from RCBS with the new stems and such for my dies.  I even told them that they were used dies.  RCBS rocks.  Now I just need the 357 barrell.

I have had the great customer service from them as you did. Had a older set of 7x57 dies, e-mailed them and they said to send them back. A week later came a brand new set with no charge. Then a few days later came another set, it could have been a mistake on their part? I bought a old lever type priming tool for $5 at a gun show. It was missing one of the priming pins. Got intouch with them and they sent me the large and the small primer pin at no charge. Zeak

I use Lee and RCBS dies, and can tell you that RCBS customer service is the best I've seen in ANY industry.

The only one I've personally had come close if Henry Rifles.
God, Family, and guns, in that order!

I would have to say Ruger has probably the best CS i've ever dealt with.
