Hmmmm, that's interesting. Sometimes you encounter strange situations like that. I once visited a small gunshop in a small village on the edge of the Vermont/NY border and found, of all things, an enormous supply of 30-30. Darn shop was sold out of just about everything else except the 30-30s. When I asked why, the owner said that years ago when they changed his area to shotgun/pistol only a lot of the old timers hung up their 30-30s and he still had a bunch of ammo around.
He also had 7 full boxes of Winchester 30 Luger on his shelves that were marked at $5.99 each. Now, that was old stuff but it was still nice and shiney. I bought all 7 boxes and still have 3 left. It works my 7.65 Luger very well.
I guess this is why a lot of us have a penchant for sniffin' around old gunshops - ain't no tellin' what goodies you'll find. Mikey.
