I have a Remington 870 shotgun I was planning on using for calling in fox. I have heard good things about the Undertaker chokes. Is this what others would recommend? I plan on either using or selling the hides.

The guy at the gun shop recommended #4 copper plated shells (3" I think). Are there better loads?

#4`s will work over a call, but I much prefer #2 or BB`s. I use to drive fox and alway loaded 3 #2 or BB`s followed by 2- #4 buckshot. If calling in the day time that is still the way I would load. At nite or when shooting range won`t be over 40 yrds I would forget the buck shot.

Hi Catfish hit the nail right on the head . I would use the same thing. This spring after turkey season went out Walmart was selling there Rem Hevi Shot turkey loads in # 4 3 inch for 8.00 a box. I got all they had i think it would be a good load. Or they make a hevi shot load in Waterfowl in #2 and BB's that would work great. VM

I shoot the Heavy Shot for ducks and geese but it cost to much for me to use when I don`t have to. I do think it is just a hair better than lead, but not worth the extra money over lead.
