What's up with comments like this?
? The fellow made a mistake and forgot to mention the caliber. I see comments like this all the time from ricciardelli. Whats up with this crap? Are you like the biggest jerk ever or what? People come to these sites to ask a question or share something with other people, not to ask an honest question and be ridiculed by some guy that thinks he's the world's gift to reloading. Greybeard has a nice site and people like you are the ones that give first comers the wrong impression and make them not return so do us all a favor and lighten up and try and be helpful or just read on and don't comment.
On a brighter note, Happy Hunter, My old Super Redhawk seemed to prefer the heavier bullets rather than the 240's. Using the 300 grain XTPs, I crimped on the lower groove as well to gain a little case capacity and velocity. You can email me and I'll send you the loads I tried with that bullet when I get home to my other computer. Another bullet that it really shot well was a 270 grain Gold Dot. This bullet seemed to work pretty well when my buddy shot coyotes with it. I never did actually shoot a deer with it though. Like I said, email me and I'll be glad to look up the loads when I'm at home. But if I read one of your other post right, you took this gun back? If I'm wrong, just yell at me later. GS
