How many of you out yhere have been shooting their broadheads at targets?.For you newdes,if you didnt know it ,your broadheads and target tips wont shoot the same.Unless your bow is tuined to perfection the broadheads can be shooting way off from your target tips. Some broadheads are better than others when it comes down to arrow flight. If you havent started yet ,ITS TIME!!!.You will be a lot happer and confident when you know for a fact, that your broadhead will go where its suppose to go.Wounding animals because of poor arow flight is a no-no.pan.

I find that my Muzzy 3 blade 100gr broadheads fly very, very close to field points. Plus, you also have the option of the broadhead practice blades which are regular blades but dulled to spare your target.

Opening day in CT is the 15th!!  My tree stand is setup in-between food & bedding. One of my popups is setup on the low part of a ridge where the deer come down from to feed in the evening. And I have another popup that I'll set up just off an apple & a pear tree. Or, I'll use it if I spot some hot sign on another part of the property.

Perfectly tuned bow

I find that a perfectly tuned bow is best.  For black bears I use one head but for moose and brown bear I switch to a 2-blade cut-on-impact.  Both heads and the field points shoot to the same point-of-aim.

It is much easier to shoot a perfectly tuned bow that to have to worry about what is going to happen.

I found that G5 Montecs shoot very close to my field points. The Montec practice blades are worse on the target than the broadheads. Has anyone found a target that will stand up to continued use of broadheads? I shoot nothing but broadheads for a month or so before opening day. The G5's are easy to resharpen.

My Steel Force broadheads fly exactly like my fieldpoints, they are the only ones I've used on this bow but I've heard others say the same thing about them....
