Got my 15" Encore SS 460 S&W barrel from Foxridge. Can't wait to try it. Waiting on ammo and considering which scope to get for it.

I don't have the Encore barrel in 460 but I do have the S&W 460 and I am using a Bushnell 2X6X32mm. It works great at short range on 2 and for real long range the 6 power does the job well. I am hitting 4 inch clay targets consistently at 150 yards.  :D

I have a Burris 2x on my 7mm-08 barrel and a Burris 3x with AO on my 223 Contender, can shoot MOA with both. I see Simmons has some new handgun scopes out, thot I might try one.

Poncaguy, I hOPE the new Simmons are better than the old ones.I tried a simmons 2x6 on my 7x30 waters barrel and almost traded it off. Swapped the Simmons for my 2.5x8 Leupold And started shooting MOA or less ,Same ammo and every thing.Put the Simmons on the 6.5 barrel and shot 2-3 inch groups. My burris 2x6's are much easier to acquire the target with.

I wasted my money once on one and don't plan to again.  Let us know if they have changed.  I hope they have.

Did T/C put the gain twist in the 460 like S&W does? Keep us posted on how it does, I'm very interested in it.
