Anyone have a source for 7.5x55 brass and are you better off neck sizing only when reloading ?  Thanks

Grafs and Sons has had some but now they are apparently out of stock. The last time round it took several months for them to get it in.

You might try forming it from .284 brass. Go here: www.swissriflewebsite.com/FAQ.htm

Reforming 284 brass is the way to go if you cannot get decent 7.5 brass. That is all I use I have 20 cases of the 7.5 the rest are the 284 and they shoot and eject fine. Some claim the cases are better  for the 284 than the 7.5 too. Not sure about that but I do know they work fine. Go to the Swiss site and they will explain on sizing the 284 cases once you get your dies and press set up right it is a snap.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

www.huntingtons.com/  is another source for grafs 7.5 swiss cases.  I have used the graf cases in 7,5 french for my french MAS rifle with no problems its good stuff.

BTW; On some of the other gun forums there's a lot of surplus shooters starting to reload berdan primed cases lately too.  There have been berdan primers available lately too.

Last I heard Huntingtons is out too. Until grafs gets reloadble cases which they have promised all summer the choices are expensive  boxer primed Norma Brass and Ammo and Privi ammo which I have heard is so so but at least the brass is reloadable and boxer. Yea Primers are out there for Berdan primed cases but getting the primer out is a pain and the commercial primer removal tools have mixed reviews and the water hydrolic method is messy and a pain. I would rather resize 284 brass and use boxer primers. Jim
