 What are some good places to hunt Deer and Black Bear in Cattaraugus and Alleghany Counties? Are there any good state or county forests in the area?

It lists the NY State Lands in Region 9 which includes Allegany and Cattaraugus Counties.

I used to hunt in Hanging Bog and Rush Creek WMA's.  Here is a link to Hanging Bog:

   Hanging Bog is a great area...rather out of the way between Rushford and Cuba...
  Then there's The English area near Short Tract..always great deer hunting around Short Tract..

   Then just north of Franklinville on rt 16, turn up Bear Creek rd...good public land up there...
