New H&R Ultra Varmint Fluted
« on: September 03, 2005, 01:41:03 PM »
I just purchased a H&R Ultra Varmint Fluted in 223, put an 8x32x44 scope on it can't wait to get to the range. This is my first H&R and it was this Forum that gave me such great info to decide to go this way. Please keep up the great forum.

I purchased the fluted varmint rifle about three weeks ago. It is now a .223 Ackley. I just returned from the range, fireforming cases.
It was fun and I'm impressed. I
was breaking clay birds at 300 yards. Now it's time to really clean the rifle and polish brass.
Have a Nice Day..

Congrats to both of you. Range reports and pics are mandatory on both.

Welcome! :D  I have 2 of the Fluted's, a 223 and a 204. They are very accurate and you will really enjoy your rifle!
