94 Legacy
« on: September 04, 2005, 07:19:49 AM »
:cb2: Been thinking about getting a rifle in .44 mag. I had a Marlin .44 once, and it was a real dog. I've even considered going with the Ruger Deerfield. However, the 94 Legacy is such a pretty gun I'm kinda inclined to go with it when I do go with a .44.

What has been your experience with the Legacy in this caliber (or any of the 94s in .44)—good or bad?

Thanks!
Griz

Never shot a 44 in a rifle only a pistol but when I got my 22 mag rifle Henry lever the cartridge really shined compared to a pistol and it is no slouch in a pistol or is the 44 so I would guess the 44 in a lever gun would be a nice combination and a good 100 yard  rifle.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
