Just heard a firsthand account from a young lady at a place I do business with. She and four other girl friends were in NO for a batcherloette party. When the storm hit and the flooding began they were trapped in their hotel. After two days they had to leave for want of water and food. Two gay guys came to their rescue. [Seems there was a lot of gays in town to celebrate 'Summer Decadence' which is week long spectacle of homosexual debauchery---isn't that precious?] Anyway the two guys led them thru water and filth to the SuperDome. They stayed in the Superdome two nights and said it was horrible, filthy, and dangerous. They could not sleep, clean themselves, and feared they would be raped or murdered. It was so terrible they decided they had to leave or possiblely die there. Another guy lead them back into the water and up to some street landing where there was a school bus. The driver insisted on having sex with them before taking them, but they remembered to bring their money...I guess he was a freelance rescuer. They gave him $650 to get on the bus with some other folks and got taken to Texas and eventually San Antonio, then flight back to New York. Well, that's their story. I reckon it's fairly accurate.

So I'm not an idiot, in planning to sign my little girls up for the course, in order to get their permit to carry, when they are of age. My police chief friend tells me, that there is a neat Baretta pocket pistol, that is ideal for ladies, fairly cheap.. Do you folks know..?

No Baretta's are cheap but a Makarov is and it is a good gun. Plus more power than a pocket ladies gun Baretta but still mild enough for anyone to handle.

I agree the bus driver should have been shot. Piece of trash taking advantage of others.
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.

This kind of tragedy will bring out the lowest common denominator in most folks. Others will come to the fore as leaders and doers of good.

I for for one hope if this kind of thing happens around these parts, it will bring out the good in people, not the evil.

In the end, the evildoers will get what they deserve.

I say pray for all of them. They all need it.

I just hope the folks they ship up north are not the ones that were looting ect. WI and MN has enough problems with out importing some more.
