Very impressed with new handi!

I have the .270 limited edition with laminated stock. It shoots great, everything I could ask for.  I lightened the trigger spring and placed a small washer between the barrel lug and stock and it gave just enough room to free float it.  It works fantastic and is as accurate as I can shoot!  I already ordered the survivor stock and was wondering if anyone has modded the survivor stock with a large recoil pad?  I know, I should have just bought the choate stock but I couldn't take the looks of it.

Try shooting it before you get too far into wanting a pad.You may find as I did that the synthetic stock absorbs a lot of the recoil making a pad unnecessary.
The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

I found out today the Chaote Varmit stocks like the one that comes on the Varmit Fluted models really helped with recoil when I put one on my 45-70. Shooting 1" groups with it today with no discomfort at all.!
