Weekend fun with my new Encore

Oats up to my neck, I can see the bear only when they rear up and then you have seconds to chose by head size alone.... We filmed 12 bear going into the field and I was positioned on the side of the field between the crop and the woods on their escape route. Who says you can't reload a ML fast?

Nice bear!
That looks like that rare "Blue" color phase in the black bears. Or called a Glacier bear.

Where were you hunting?

I tried oats in my bear set up last week because they love oats and they never touched the oats....they ate everything else but the oats.... Go figure.

No, he has dew on him from laying out in the crop over night. The frost thawed into dew and made for a cool picture. We had to get the farmer there before we could remove the bear, just a requirement from the farmer.
We were hunting here at home in Alberta.
