Silhouette committee

Hello Everyone,
I've seen disscussion many times of the silhouette committee on this forum. Who are these people that are governing us? Where are they from? How long have they been in the sport? I would like to assume that each area of our country (geographically)is represented by a member of this committee to voice each regions opinion and concerns, plus it would give the shooters a liason directly to the committee. I think it's time that we revisited this subject. I would like to know who is on the committee that decides what will be legal and what will not. I would also like to know who is deciding issues for me that is going to financially affect myself and some of my fellow shooters. Does anyone know the names of the members of the silhouette rules committee? Did we have more than one person who shoots air rifle on the committee who declared that the PCP sporters will no longer be permitted? I find it unfathomable that the PCP sporter is disallowed because it is considered unfair compared to a springer but you can shoot an Anschutz 2002 PCP in Target Air rifle and it isn't considered unfair compared to an RWS 75 to 1, FWB 300s, etc. If anyone knows the names of the committee members please let the rest of us know. Thank you in advance.  Mark Varner

Hi Butch/Mark
I have just emailed the NRA for the details you have highlighted; I will let y'all have then when/if they give them to me.
I agree with you 110%, I'm amazed, I shoot at 8 clubs in this area (Eastern PA), and know no one who is against the new (now old) rule. I know for a fact that this year we have seen more people on the line at air rifle matches, due to the relaxing of the rules, relating to shooting PCP sporters, and this is were it counts. Some one has some explaining to do, and I want to hear it.
