Vintage Kimber Value
« on: September 12, 2005, 10:05:02 AM »
Does anyone know the Blue-Book value of an original Model 84 Kimber Classic in 223?
Serial number under 1000.
It has the original two position tip-back safety.
Fired very little, works perfectly, and blueing is perfect.
Stock has good figure with some dings at the bottom of the comb and one to the forward left of the hinged floor-plate. None are bad and have to look to find them.
Any idea what percent would this rifle be rated at?
Big BWANA safari hunter thought it was a bit puny for anything useful, so I bought it shortly after Kimber sent it to him in 198?.
Happen to have an approximate year of manufacture?
