forward action bolt grommet
« on: September 13, 2005, 10:17:05 AM »
the plastic "grommet" that the forward action bolt torques up on is cracked on my wood stocked 110.  Are these replaceable or is there a better solution to incorporate in a fix - such as pillar bedding.  I use a torque wrench (in-lb) and have never gotten up to many of the recommended  torque values I have seen online.  Maybe about 10 in-lbs is where I stop.  I have bedded the action in the forward bolt region.
