Colt Walker holster and gun belt pattern?

I've recently aquired a pair of Walker replicas and would like to make a gun belt for them, maybe similar to the one Clint wore in the Outlaw Josey Wales.

Anybody got a pattern for a pare of larg hand cannons like the Walker, or where I can look at something like that?

Originally, Walkers were meant to be horse pistols; pommel holsters, but I guess if a guy is big enough  he could carry a pair.  :roll:  :wink:

Well I guess you could say I've got an hour glass figure, but opposite the way your thining!  I am a big guy, 6'2" and 285lbs.  I'm thinging of an extra wide belt and if I have trouble maybe add shoulder straps.  The Walkers look kinda small in my hands, but what a blast to shoot!

Any experienced leather shop should be able to make a pattern to match that particular handgun.  If you want to do it yourself, Al Stohlman wrote a couple of instructional books dealing with holster making in which you'll find instructions for making holster/gunbelt patterns for any type of handgun.
