Pick up this rifle this spring and did all the stock refinish:

Here's some history of my rifle and load development:

Using reformed 284 winchester brass I've got the following load worked up:

    165 Sierra GameKing and IMR-4350 at OAL = 2.96"
    Velocity = 2,710 chrono'd at 10'
    (Basicly same as 308 Win.)[/list:u]

    With iron sights set at 100 Yards:
      3 shots = 1.9" CTCXS at 50 yards centered 0.3" high
      3 shots = 1.7" CTCSX at 100 yards centered 1.4" low
      4 shots = 3.6" CTCXS at 150 yards centered 2.5" low[/list:u]

      Now son wants it for his deer rifle this fall!
      I did all the work! :(
      Think I should mention to him it would be better to use it with sights set at 200? :mrgreen:

Looks Good Ray! Now I guess you better pick one up for the Kid while they are still available and cheap.  :grin:
Said I never had much use for one, never said I didn't know how to use it.
