After attempting to anneal some 300wby brass I set out to resize it before loading after the third case it happened stuck with the rim ripped off. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Your best bet is to send the die back to the manufacturer. They will remove it for you.

From your pics, I can't see if you can remove the decapper and use a small punch. Also try a small vice grip on the case and a big wrench on the die and twist out the case.

Thanks fer the replies but I used the drill and tap methiod, popped her right out. I'll post some pics for posterity later.

If it ever happens again or to anyone else.....FREON works GREAT!!!!

The two metal retract and they will sometime fall out.

Make sure you use case lube inside and out.

Thats the kicker I was. I think residual moisture from the annealing process was to blame, because after sitting for a few hours the other cases sized without any undue effort.

RCBS makes a very nice stuck case remover tool and so does Hornady.
Every handloader should have on they cheap

I like the hornady set up better. you remove the decapping stem , drill and tap the flash hole, then screw an adapter in then put the die back in the case take your shell holder and slide it in to the press catching the adapter and sliding in the slot on the ram, then you use the press to remove the case.

the RCBS you remove the decapping stem, drill and tap the flash hole, put a "cup" over the case and then use a hex head screw and it pulls the stuck case out. I have had to get several large washers and put them between the die and "cup" to get enough height to remove some cases. not a real big deal
