Doug, the H&R rifles are a fancier version of the NEF handi rifle. A little better blueing, and laminated stocks. On average, the H&Rs will run $50-$75 higher than the handis. I own four NEFs, a .30-30, .50 cal. huntsman, a 20 ga. tracker II slug gun, and a 20 ga. topper shotgun. They are all great guns, and a good value for the money.
