Cleaning question
« on: September 17, 2005, 05:29:07 AM »
Ok, I hope someone can answer this question for me.  I just bought a set of wool hunting clothes from Sportsmans Guide.  Now, it says "Dry Clean Only."  I will take my clothes to a dry cleaner if absolutely necessary, but, is it still possible to clean these clothes at home, wether handwashing or using the "delicates" cycle on the washing machine?  I hunt some pretty muddy, wet, boggy areas and sometimes I have to wash my clothes once a week.  Id hate to have to keep running back and forth to the Dry Cleaners every week if I can still do the job here at home.

I wash almost all of my wool stuff on the delicate cycle with Atsko Sport-Wash, sometimes rinsing and spinning twice and then laying flat to dry.  Works fine. Filson, that goes to the cleaner.
