Cannon Hunt in the New Founde Land

Hello everyone.

I've been watching the forum for a while now and decided it was time to post my first message.

It was only after reading other people's messages that I began to realize how many cannon are actually in my own city.  I'm in St. John's, Newfoundland, Canada.  Basically it's about as far east as you can go in North America without getting your feet wet.

St. John's is dominated by Signal Hill National Historic Park which has quite a few different cannon.  I spent my lunch hour last Friday taking some pictures and this will be my first attempt at posting them.  I've set up an album on Photobucket and you're all welcome to have a look.

Here are a couple of examples of what you'll find.  Sorry but I didn't have a powder can with me to show scale.  Plus I don't think the tourists would have understood.    :-)
