I doubt PA will ever have sunday hunting.  Maybe with some lobbying you could get sunday hunting on private property.

PA still has a lot of blue laws.  It's 2005 and you can't buy beer in a grocery store in PA, let alone hunt on sunday.

Sunday hunting will probably pass next year. Last 2 yrs. the vote has been 2 shy of passing.
Using government to make us all feel great is getting rather expensive don't you think?

I remember when they use to have Blue Laws when I worked in Louisiana.  People travelling through the state couldn't even buy diapers for babies on Sunday because of "stupid laws."  As for hunting, I've never had to deal with that, and wouldn't know what to do if we couldn't hunt on Sunday.  Granted, since getting married 17 years ago, I usually don't hunt on Sunday, and thank goodness I'm off on Monday, but my brother in NJ says he can't hunt on Sunday.

Also keep in mind you can keep your target practicing conditioning up and running with the crow and coyote hunting on Sunday 8)

I agree with The #1 hunter, give the deer a day off. Coyotes & crows should suffice for those that want to hunt on Sunday, and maybe chucks in the summertime.

I think the deer should have a day of rest on Sunday --- and --- all hunters should have Fridays and Saturdays off during deer season.

The only way I would agree with Sunday hunting is if they split the concurrent deer seasons back to a separate buck and doe season. And then only if doe season would not fall on a Saturday or Sunday. Sunday hunting as our seasons are now, would mean more people in the woods, and lead to more dead doe, and less deer for future years and generations. If they can't split the season then I hope they leave it as it is.

I would have to agree with no deer hunting on Sundays.  But, would like to see small game and especially woodchucks open to Sunday hunting.
