What's a Performance Center Tactical .40 worth?

I was told that these pistols originally sold for around $1,200.00 new. I've got the original box and 3 extra mags for it. I've been trying to trade it away for some time now but with no luck. Is it true that Smith auto don't hold thier value? It appears that way to me. I'm not trying to get rich off of this thing but I would hope that it would at least be worth $900.00. What do you think? P.S. it's about 98%. :?

Blue book on the S&W model 4053TSW (tactical) 100% $730 98% $580 it is like everything else for sale finding the right buyer will be the best way to go. :D    JIM
