Trigger Job while my receiver is in for an accessory barrel?
« on: September 22, 2005, 10:40:35 AM »
Does H&R still perform free trigger jobs if the pull of over a certain poundage while the receivers are in for accessory barrels?  I was thinking of calling and asking if they would do that while my receiver is in their hands but I wanted to get the forum input first...

Thanks...Mike

When you send your receiver in for a new barrel, put a hand written note in the box asking them to adjust the trigger to 3-31/2 lbs.  Be sure the print your name and then sign it.  Worked for me and was Well worth the little effort it took to write the note.  The 308 Ultra I just bought off a friend has a 3.25 lb pull......S   W   E   E   T....

I called CS and they advised that they would put it on the list for the technicians to check the trigger pull and adjust accordingly...She was pleasant and efficient...I am satisfied.  We shall see how the pull is when the rifle comes back...
