My Pietta 1858 Case Hardened frame and checkered grips from Cabela"s  came today and it's absoutly gorgeous.   No mechanical problems that I can see. Everything is tight.    Just needs a little cleanup on some of the edges.
Now I just need to find some place that sells caps and some form of powder here in northern kalifornia and I'll take her out for a spin.     :grin:

Never knew they even made checkered grips for the 1858 Rem. Sure sounds good to me! Post a pic when you can, Thanks, Mike
