I use the Tekan II expandables. They shoot exactly like my field points (but so do my muzzy 3 blades).

What type of setup do you have?

I used the tekans last season and they fly and penetrate great. The only down side I see with them is the only have 2 blades.  I tried Slick Tricks this season and like them better.  They fly just like field points out to 60 yards, and probably farther.  They have 4 fixed blades with 1 1/8" cutting diameter and penetrate like nothing I have used before.  I killed a 380-400lb bear a month ago with them.  Quartering away shot that broke rib on entry blew thru both lungs and broke its front leg.  The brodhead looks and feels like it was never shot.  Cuts paper!!  First time I ever put a brodhead back in my quiver.  The Tekans bent after impact of bone.

double lunged a doe this past Saturday with the Tekan II. She ran about 40 yards and crashed in a creek. The blood trail was teh best blood trail that I have ever followed (bow). A few factors play into that though.

1.) The angle was from the mid-upper rib cage exiting the lower ribcage (the blood was able to follow gravity)

2.) The shot was a complete pass though (arrow stuck 10 inches into the ground. measured on the arrow)

3.)both lungs were destroyed

They worked very well. The two blade configuration did bother me until I saw the entry and exit wounds both through rib bones. They were just as impressive as my 3 blade Muzzy shots.

the Tekan's of last year were weak and did have issues with bent/broken blades. That is why they came out with the Tekan II

Took a doe last monday with a tekan & she went 30 yards or so & piled up. Thats with the old tekans I believe, they didn'y say Tekan 2 anyway. Busted a rib going in & came out between 2 but nothng bent. Its back in my quiver.
