Check out the wood on my new CZ
« on: September 25, 2005, 07:25:40 AM »
I just picked this rifle up yesterday. I called around to every gunshop I could find that had a CZ 452 and I found only 1 gunshop within an hour drive that had ANY CZ's and they only had 2. I got very lucky to have found this rifle. It was in the stock room and the box hadn't even been opened by the owner so she had no idea what was actually in this box. CZ 452 17HM2

Definitely a bit nicer than the wood on mine altho mine doesn't look bad at all. It kinda reminds me of the wood on old Winchester rimfires. It's nice enough but yours is clearly a step up from mine.

My DC is on the blink right now. I'm gonna have Matt take a look at it when he's over next time but I think it either has to be returned to manufacturer or replaced. So no photos for now.

I have the .17 HMR and have a CZ Huglu Bobwhite .410 SxS Double.

Whoa, that's some nice stock. Did they charge you a premium price for it?

Thanks!
No, she had no idea what it looked like until she brought it out from the back room. SHe realized the minute she opened the box that it was pretty special but she had already priced it to me for $325 + tax and I snatched it up.

OK everyone, go here to vote for the CZ forum. GB says that if this doesn't pick up fast then there will be no CZ forum. Help a brother out :D

If it doesn't go then you can hang out here with the rest of us.  We are still OK even if we don't have pretty stocks like yours.

That is probably one of the prettiest wood grain stocks I have ever seen. Very nice. Congrats :D

Yep remember seeing this one awhile back. Worth bringing back. Very nice wood for a CZ or any other. Do wish my CZ had that stick of wood on it. :-) Just a plus for an already well made an accurate rifle that I think is worth a $1.50 for every $1.00 it cost.

That is a beautiful stock on that rifle!  I like CZs but I wish that they woud have made the magazine fit flush.  I think that it would improve the lines on their rifles.  Just my opinion, though.  I would have snached that rifle up in a heart-beat, and especially for that price!
