The best stoploss made today is the Duke.It costs less than the Bridger and is a much better trap all around,I used to sell the Bridgers, but since the Duke came out,it is the only one I handle.
Oh by the way,I also helped in the redesign of the Duke.Eveything I said needed to be done to make this a good trap, was done.
I also have the very first one ever produced,it was sent to me for my ok-I think I will have it bronzed.

Bog is right about the Duke's with the guard. I bought some from him when they first came out. They are a strong, solid little trap.

You cant go wrong on the duke stoploss... use it where you dont have enough water for drowing sets.... also  if you dont have enough mink or coon traps they work just fine also.... never had a coon get out of a nbr one stoploss.. good luck

The #1 stoploss is my main trap for rats and mink.By using a good staking system I hold everything else that gets in them.Biggest beaver I caught in one of these traps was 53 pounds---that tells you,I stake them well.
I use this trap at all rat houses, shallow or deep.If you set anywhere your trap and catch may get entangled in vegetation, use the stoploss---they pay for themselves in short order.
